Have You Prepared Yourself For Winter Weather?

If you haven't prepared your home for winter weather, now's the time.  It's just around the corner in mid-Missouri.  SERVPRO of Jefferson City would like to provide some helpful tips to help you out.

• Protect your water pipes from freezing by allowing water to drip when temperatures dip below freezing.
• Check your roof, water pipes, and gutters; and direct your downspouts away from your home.
• Inspect your handrails, stairwells and entryways to address and correct potential slippery or hazardous areas.  
• If you have downed tree limbs and branches clear them away.  These could cause damage to your property.
